Mr Mohammed is a pioneering consultant orthopedic spinal surgeon at Salford Royal Foundation Trust.
He is a Clinical Lead in complex spinal surgery specialising in spinal deformity, degenerative spine disease, spinal tumours and spinal trauma.
Professional member of British Orthopedic Association, British Scoliosis Society and Cervical Spine Society.
Whilst also dealing with pediatric spinal emergencies at Manchester Children’s Hospital and Salford Royal, he has extensive experience in spondylolytic spondylolisthesis (adult and pediatric), degenerative scoliosis, pars repairs, boney osteotomies of the spine
Mr Mohammed is a Clinical Supervisor for orthopedic and spinal trainees. He has also mentored spinal consultants, supervised PhD students at Manchester University and undergraduates at Salford Royal.
Mr Mohammed is extensively published in this field and participates in pan European outcome data collection and registry through Spine TANGO. This allows for comparison of outcomes with peers.
